Bye-Bye Boehner!

While my focus in Nevada is on replacing RINOs with conservatives in the state Legislature – especially in the Assembly – the fact is such a war for the philosophical soul of the GOP is being waged in every state, as well as Congress.

In Nevada, conservatives have already chalked up four major victories in the 2016 election cycle with RINO Sen. Greg Brower and RINO Assemblymen Pat “The Appeaser” Hickey, Randy “Kirner Tax” Kirner and Lynn “The Bug Man” Stewart quitting and not running for re-election.

But conservatives also chalked up a HUGE victory on Friday with the announcement that House Speaker John Boehner was throwing in the towel and quitting Congress.

Liberals, such as Sen. Harry Reid, were saddened by the news.  The Left loved how Boehner would compromise rather than fight.

And liberal reporter Dan Balz of the (still) liberal Washington Post (under new Amazon.com management) lamented the apparent victory of conservatism over capitulation.

“Can a party so riven by anger, a party divided over confrontation versus compromise, actually govern in Washington?” he mused, adding his opinion (as liberal “reporters” are wont to do) that the conservative agenda pushed by tea party-fueled Republicans has “damaged the brand of the Republican Party.”

What a load of crap.

The tea party conservatives ARE the Republican Party brand!

They stand for limited, constitutional government.  And they returned Republicans to the majority in the House in 2010 and the Senate in 2014.

Plus, there are now more Republican governors than Democrat.

And as my friend Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform pointed out in a pair of tweets recently…

“31 states have Republican majorities in both houses of their state legislatures.  11 states have Democrat majorities in both houses of Leg.

“24 states have a GOP House, Senate and Governor with population 147 million.  7 states have Dem House/Sen/governor. Population 49 million.”

So tell me again how conservative confrontational politics has “damaged” the Republican Party brand?

Obviously, over the last five years that’s the brand voters are buying!

Oh, and, um…which GOP presidential candidate has most vocally and publicly embraced the conservative, confrontational tea party agenda?

Yeah, the guy leading in the polls.  His name is “Trump” or something, I think.

Whether in Washington or Nevada, the liberals and RINOs just don’t get it.

Voters want a limited-government/low-tax party that stands for something and isn’t afraid to fight for what it believes.

The compromising stand-for-nothing-fall-for-anything “surrender monkey” moderate Republicans were who kept the party in the minority for so many years.

It was CONSERVATIVES – including RINOs who *ran* as conservatives (then governed as liberals) – who brought the GOP into power.

Republicans would have to be idiots not to recognize that fact.

They’d have to be morons to go back to watering down their brand with “Democrat-lite.”

Thank you for your service, Speaker Boehner.

But thank you even more for finally stepping down.

Conservageddon rolls on!

FAMOUS LAST WORDS
