Your Opinion, Please?

Hey, gang!

While it’s true I took my son, CJ, on a cruise last week for his 18th birthday, it was actually a “working vacation.”  Around 75 marketing professionals and entrepreneurs from around the country were onboard.

We all belong to a “mastermind” group called Ignite which is run by a legend in the direct response marketing field, Perry Belcher.  And Perry’s been deeply involved in learning how to use AI (artificial intelligence) in the business world for over seven years now.

While Perry himself isn’t much into politics, he’s been helping me with learning how to adapt this exploding technology in the political field.  And he, CJ, and I had breakfast one morning and talked about some ways to use it for conservative organizations and candidates.

Well, that got the ol’ creative juices flowing, and I’ve been playing around with a bunch of new ideas that I’ll probably launch right after the November 5 election.  And one of them is going to be a complete overhaul of our Nevada News & Views (NN&V) news blog.

There are a LOT of stories of interest to Nevada conservatives that don’t get reported by the mainstream media.  And there are now THREE major liberal news blogs out there on the left while we have only the mighty Nevada Globe on the right.

So in addition to developing new, original content on NN&V from the conservative perspective, Perry suggested creating an e-newsletter that “aggregates” Nevada stories, articles, and opinion columns of interest to the right that you otherwise might not know about.

So I was playing with that idea this morning and put together a rudimentary example of what that might look like below.  It includes headlines and brief descriptions with a link in case you want to read the full article or column.

Would this be of interest and value to you?  Check it out and let me know what you think. And thanks in advance for any feedback!

Chuck

P.S.  It was onboard a cruise two years ago that Bill Laub, Mike Steigman, Annie Black, and I first talked about the possibility of Citizen Outreach getting involved in the voter roll clean-up effort. The rest is history.

And it was while sitting in a beach chair with CJ on Bimini Island last week that I reviewed the lawsuits we filed this week on my cell phone and pulled the trigger.

I seem to get more done on “vacation” than many people do when “working.”  I think you guys should send me on more cruises!

P.P.S.  I’m so proud of my “boy.”  Hanging out with a bunch of old people talking about business wasn’t exactly his idea of “fun.”  But he said he did learn a lot…and we DID get some quality time together while celebrating his entry into the adult world.

Cheers, CJ!
