What’s Reid have Against Guys with Long Hoses?

Why does Harry Reid hate firefighters so much? I mean, they’re just simple public servants doing a dangerous job protecting the citizenry, right? Why screw them?

Why do I claim Reid is trying to stick it to firefighters? Because he wants to raise taxes on people earning $250,000 or more a year. And according to the Transparent Nevada website, the following Clark County firefighters are raking in more than that amount, not including any “side” income they and/or their spouses might be making.

Don’t those hyper-inflated salaries make you see fire-engine red?

And I wonder how many of these folks were in attendance at the Boa Steakhouse soiree thrown for incoming Assembly Speaker John Oceguera last week, where guests feasted on Kobe beef skewers washed down with pinot noir which, Delen Goldberg of the Sun reports, was paid for by those poor, underpaid, under-appreciated folks who run the firefighters’ union – of which Johnny O is a member?
