Translating Cashell’s RINO-ese

Following Sen. Bill Raggio’s retirement announcement yesterday, there was much speculation that the King of RINOs, Reno Mayor Bob Cashell, would be anointed by the Washoe County Commission to fill the vacancy. However, late this afternoon the Reno RINO took his name out of contention. I’ve taken the liberty of translating his statement by inserting my own Muth’s Truths in parentheses:

“…I have decided that I can continue to do the (least amount of damage to the state of Nevada) as the Mayor of Reno and therefore I intend to stay right where I am. That said, I look forward to working with whoever is chosen to succeed Senator Raggio (as long as it’s not Sharron Angle or another conservative) in a combined effort to maintain a strong (liberal, tax-happy) voice for northern Nevada.”
