In response to Assemblyman Pat “The Appeaser” Hickey’s recent sour grapes column – in which he essentially criticized Nevada voters for registering to vote with a political party and referred to his own GOP caucus members as “clowns” – one grassroots activist, Ken Koeppe, wrote in an email to him:
“Pat, you were not elected to talk down to Nevadans. Stop embarrassing our party.”
And while that email had absolutely nothing to do with me, Hickey nonetheless – with all the maturity and class of a smelly sweat sock – snottily replied thusly:
“Ken, I’m glad you have Muth and his minions as your brain. You seem to be losing your own capacity.”
This guy really can’t stand having anyone challenge or disagree with him. He appears to have retained a physician-like “God complex” from his days as a high official with the Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Unification Church and believes conservatives need to be reprogrammed, not respected.
No wonder his colleagues ousted him as their caucus leader after the November elections.
