The Moose is Loose

Democrat Ways & Means Committee Chairman Morse “Moose” Arberry is pushing a bill that would force his bank to extend him more time before they foreclose on two of his properties. In the lawsuit, Arberry says he’s suing his bank because, get this, it expects him to actually pay the full amount he owes them.

And make no mistake; Arberry isn’t an unsophisticated home owner. He’s the owner of a mortgage company and reportedly owns SEVEN different houses – including a 6,279-square foot, million dollar home in the prestigious Canyon Gate Country Club. At yet Arberry is claiming his bank is at fault for not warning him that real estate prices might drop. Duh.

And this guy is in charge of the Legislature’s MONEY committee in the Assembly? We’re doomed.
