The “Logic” of Clark County Commissioners

What’s wrong with this picture?

The Clark County Commission has decreed that it is illegal to use a cat or dog to garner sympathy while panhandling on the Strip, but it’s OK to use a child for the same purpose.

And those same county commissioners have decreed that it’s illegal to sell bottled water to tourists walking on the Strip in 105-degree heat without a business license, but refuse to issue such business licenses to folks just trying to make a living rather than live off the government.

Well, at least the smut peddlers are still allowed to operate unimpeded.
