The Further (Mis)Adventures of Mark “SureWould”

Would a failure of a one-term state assemblyman known for wrapping his tie around his head and running around the caucus room making rat-a-tat-tat machine-gun sounds while pretending to be Rambo actually think he’s got what it takes to be a high-priced Carson City lobbyist after being forced not to run again and after his hand-picked successor went down in flames on Election Day?

Sure Would!

That’s right, failed ex-Assemblyman Mark Sherwood (R-Rigel VII) is attempting to cash-in on his failed single term as a state legislator by hanging out a lobbyist shingle. No, I’m not going to help promote his venture by linking to his website, but for the purpose of pure comic relief I will share this knee-slapper from his “Clients” page:

“Battle Born Political Advocacy is proud to represent the following types of clients: Associations, Professional Services, Health Care providers and Non-Profits. NONE of Battle Born’s clients have conflicting or competing interests.”

Of course “NONE” of his clients have any conflicting or competing interests, because he HAS no clients! After all, he only “proudly” represents certain “types” of imaginary clients, not real ones. What a goober.

One of the things I’m most thankful for this Thanksgiving is that this bozo is no longer serving in our Legislature.
