Stopping At Nothing

So obsessed were Democrats on passing their billion dollar tax hike in time to override Gov. Gibbons’ promised veto that Speaker Barbara Buckley began debate on the final $781 million leg of the bill….before the bill even arrived in her chamber from the Senate. Assemblyman Goedhart reported that the paper was still warm when the bill was handed to him on the Assembly floor. And there wasn’t even time to read it before Buckley forced a vote on it.

Is this any way to run a government?
