Stations Stiffs its Hit Man

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported yesterday that affiliates of Stations Casinos have “filed prepackaged bankruptcy reorganization petitions as part of the parent company’s reorganization plan.”

Interestingly, “the company submitted a consolidated list of creditors holding the 40 largest claims against its subsidiaries. The Nevada Gaming Commission topped the list at $5.09 million.”

So tops on the list of those Stations Casinos is stiffing is the government regulatory board it has been using to kill Dotty’s, a minor competitor? Lovely. Bet you can’t get away with that in the mob.
