Republican Assemblyman Stephen Silberkraus has some serious ‘splainin’ to do.
Silberkraus has declared on his Financial Disclosure Statement for his Assembly District 29 race last year that he lives on Green Valley Parkway and has lived “in district where registered to vote” for 10 years.
But in 2012, just two years earlier, Silberkraus ran for the state Assembly in District 42 and listed his address on the Financial Disclosure Statement as being on Dean Martin Drive.
If he declared his residency as being in District 42 two years ago and now claims to have been living in District 29 for the last 10 years, clearly he lied on one or the other of the reports.
Silberkraus also claimed on this year’s FDS that he’s lived in Nevada for 13 years, yet I’m hearing of records that show he’d been voting in California through at least the 2010 election cycle.
For some reason, the fact that this guy is running buddies with Assemblyman Chris “Let’s Make a Deal” Edwards doesn’t surprise me in the least.
