Sex in the Classroom (Yawn)

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on Wednesday that “A Chaparral High School mariachi teacher was arrested Wednesday on two counts of sexual misconduct with a student, according to Clark County Detention Center records.”

This is OUTRAGEOUS!! Do you mean to tell me that in this day of tight budgets – with everyone in the public school system whining and complaining about a lack of money for education – the school district is actually paying a MARIACHI TEACHER??!!! Are you kidding me?

Oh, and the sexual conduct thing is pretty bad, too. But we’ve become accustomed to hearing about sex crimes in public schools over the years. I don’t think anyone was particularly surprised by that. Sad, but true.
