With friends like this, why does Gov. Sandoval need enemies? In a Las Vegas Sun story today, Sen. Mike McGinness, the new Republican Minority Leader, said, “The (proposed Sandoval) budget cuts are too high.”
Not to be outdone, Republican Sen. Dean Rhoads, who voted for over a billion worth of tax hikes in 2009, said in the same story, “There will have to be…tax and fee increases.”
Aren’t there any conservative GOP legislators and leaders out there who are outraged over talk like this that undermines the fiscally responsible efforts of their fellow Republican governor?
