Rethinking that 5% Pay Cut for Gov’t Workers

Hey, here’s a thought. Since government employees are throwing hissy fits anyhow over a small 5 percent pay reduction to balance the budget, why not cut their pay by 10 percent and rack up a budget surplus. Then we could cut taxes as well as spending! I mean, if they’re gonna piss and moan anyway, why not make it worthwhile and save the rest of us some much-needed dough, right?
