Philosophizing about the end of Women’s Studies

So a rep from Hyperbole U testified Wednesday that if proposed budget cuts are implemented for the university system, UNLV would have to close down its Women’s Studies and Philosophy departments.

The obvious question is….so what? Women’s Studies is nothing but liberal, feminist BS and I’m not exactly sure the demand for stand-up philosophers is a particularly big, or even desirable, job market. Time to pull the plug.
