Nevada Republicans Can Flip These Four Democrat Legislative Seats

The Primaries Are Over. The Real Fight Starts Now. Here's the Strategy.

In January I launched a new pilot “coaching” program for four legislative candidates that included the use of advanced AI (artificial intelligence) tools for research, message development, graphics, and communications.

Three of the four won their primaries: George Harris in Senate District 8, Erica Neely in Assembly District 9, and Kelly Chapman in Assembly District 41.

Jill Douglass in Assembly District 37 is also part of the program but didn’t have a primary.

All four are running in “swing” districts and represent the four best chances for Republicans to flip incumbent Democrat legislative seats in November.

None of them are using high-priced consultants who tend to run boring, lifeless, cookie-cutter campaigns built on national talking points and unreliable polls.

All four have run before, so this isn’t their first rodeo. They don’t need on-the-job-training as a candidate. Been there, done that. Learned from mistakes they won’t repeat.

In 2024, Neely came within two points of knocking off the sitting Speaker of the Assembly – who apparently was so spooked by the closeness of the race – despite outraising Neely by a factor of roughly 15 to 1 – that he opted not to run again.

Also that cycle, Chapman ran in a big Democrat majority district – her home was in AD41 until they redrew the lines in 2021 – but ran a strong enough campaign to help flip the nested state senate district that overlapped her assembly district.

She has since moved back into AD41 where, in 2024, Rafael Arroyo – now running for state senate – almost knocked off the sitting Assembly Majority Leader who also opted not to risk a rematch this year.

So Neely and Chapman are now running for “open” seats – which helps level the playing field a bit. It also helps that their two Dem opponents are far-left extremists.

Chapman’s opponent, Vinny Spotleson, is a former Harry Reid staffer and an environmental hyper-activist, while Neely’s opponent, Ryan Hampton, is a recovering heroin addict who has referred to himself as a “super liberal.”

Two open seats. Two beatable opponents. Two candidates who already know how to run.

Douglass is running against Assemblywoman Shea Backus in a district that has flipped four times in the last six cycles. The Democrat registration advantage as of this month has shrunk to just 532 voters out of over 54,000 total.

Harris is running against ethics-challenged Sen. Marilyn Dondero-Loop in a district that is also moving to the right. Democrats now only hold a 642 registered voter lead – down from 3,283 four years ago when the seat was last up.

These are not long shots.

Here’s where we are…

Unlike other consultants, I've written full campaign plans, budgets, fundraising plans, and path-to-victory assessments for all four. And I've completed opposition research reports on their opponents and vulnerability audits on our own candidates.

So all four are going into this general election with their eyes wide open. What they need now is fuel.

These are seasoned candidates in competitive swing districts with beatable opponents and the campaign infrastructure to win. The only question is whether they have the resources to execute.

So today I’m asking for your help to get these four out of the gate with a blazing start by kicking in some “seed” money.

$500, $100, or even $25 now is worth 10 times that amount in October. Load up on one race…or give a little to each. Here’s how you can get in early:

Four strong candidates in the Top 4 most “flippable” districts. Get in now – while your money can still do the most work and have the greatest impact.

P.S. The Republican establishment never seems to blow an opportunity to blow an opportunity. These four seats are golden opportunities. Let’s not blow it for a change. Flip the script and flip some seats!
