(Chuck Muth) – As you’ve probably noticed over the past few weeks since the election, I’ve been experimenting with some changes in our overall communications efforts.
I *think* I’ve almost got it figured out, though I’m still playing around with some content generation and formatting.
And sometime after the holidays I’m going to streamline my multiple e-newsletters to three major ones…
1.) Nevada News & Views
This will be an aggregated newsletter with links to national, state and local articles of interest to Nevada conservative, along with the new “X Marks the Spot” feature that so many of you have said you like.
Plus the cartoons and other humor…because Lord knows we need a little laugh now and then after devouring the day’s serious political news.
And we’ll be adding original articles and opinion columns on the new-and-improved (but not lemon-scented) website, including items submitted by conservative elected officials and grassroots leaders.
Lastly, for the past year or so I’ve been getting deeply immersed in the use of AI (artificial intelligence) to quickly and easily produce content that was never available to us before. Check these out that were just posted…
- Drones Over New Jersey: Federal Response Amid Security Concerns (NN&V)
- Romney Acknowledges Trump’s Mandate and GOP Shift to MAGA (NN&V)
- FBI Informants at Capitol: Stephen A. Smith Questions Democratic Integrity (NN&V)
- Achieving Election Integrity with a New Trump Administration (NN&V)
As you’ll notice, we’ve also given the site a much-needed facelift. From this hot mess…
To…
The new Nevada News & Views e-newsletter will be free – but we *might* start accepting some limited advertising – published (roughly) Monday thru Friday.
2.) Muth’s Truths
I’m going to phase out this election cycle’s Muth’s Truths PLUS. All current paid subscriptions have already expired, and we haven’t renewed them, so no one will be “cheated.”
Instead, a new Muth’s Truths – with all the “inside” dirt and commentary like Muth’s Truths PLUS – will be launched before the start of the 2025 legislative session and will be a paid subscription.
Probably a bazillion dollars a year, because you can’t save the world if you can’t pay the rent!
Kidding. We’ll make it affordable to just about anyone.
Time permitting, I’ll try to add a “mini” Muth’s Truths for each Nevada News & Views edition and hope to publish one or two full Muth’s Truths columns a week that will be linked to in NN&V at no charge.
In addition, now that the 2024 elections are over…and with the help of my daughter and son-in-law…I *finally* have the new video studio built and operational here at Casa de Muth.
Even learned how to do Zoom calls!
I’m not planning on doing a regular political podcast – but, hey, you never know. Instead, the main purpose of the studio is to produce campaign training videos for candidates and campaign workers…
3.) Campaign Hot Tips
In addition to my weekly “Campaign Hot Tips” e-newsletter, I’m now going to take my “live” Campaign Management College training seminars and put them online so candidates and campaign workers can access them anytime, anywhere, 24/7.
We shot the first “pilot” video last week and are now making some last-minute adjustments. For example, we added some additional soundproofing yesterday to reduce the echo we’d noticed from the first one.
I’m also planning a weekly 90-minute live group call with candidates and activists all across the country that will include a Q&A session where people can ask any questions they want on any topic.
I’ll even bring in outside experts on campaign topics in which I’m not an expert. Game changer.
I’ve been wanting to make these changes and expand our communications outlets for a long time now. But there are only so many hours in a day and I haven’t had the money to hire people to take some of this off my plate.
But thanks to Elon Musk and AI, we ARE the media now and can boldly go where we’ve never gone before. I haven’t been this energized in a long time.
And you thought I was just being lazy!
If you have any additional suggestions or recommendations, shoot ‘em to me now while we’re finalizing our plans.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
