National Coalition Launched to Fight Non-Citizen Voting

(Chuck Muth) – Citizen Outreach, of which I’m president, announced today that it’s joining forces with dozens of national, state and local organizations to work together to stop noncitizen voting in the 2024 elections by passing the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act.

The mission of the “Only Citizens Vote Coalition” (OCVC) is dedicated to the principle that only United States citizens should be allowed to vote in any American election and that proof of United States citizenship must be required to register to vote.

“According to the Census Bureau, almost 22 million noncitizens were residing in the United States in 2022,” OCVC notes. “That number has increased significantly as a result of President Biden’s open border.”

It also notes that every state now issues driver’s licenses to noncitizens which are used “to confirm voter eligibility, creating a dangerous loophole that allows noncitizens to register . . . and vote.”

Recent polling conducted by McLaughlin & Associates showed that 87% agree that “proof of United States citizenship should be required to register to vote in American elections” and 86% agree that “only United States citizens should be allowed to vote in elections in America.”

“The greatest threat to the integrity of the 2024 election is illegal non-citizen / alien voting,” said Cleta Mitchell, founder of the Election Integrity Network.  “Americans overwhelmingly favor ensuring that only US citizens are allowed to vote.”

Coalition members will work with other leaders, activists, and public officials to educate Americans about citizen-only voting and to secure enactment and administration of laws and practices at all levels of government to prevent noncitizen registration and voting.

To that end, the coalition urges Congress to enact the SAVE Act, to protect our 2024 elections from any noncitizen votes.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is principal sponsor of the SAVE Act in the House and stated…

“Secure elections are a key cornerstone for any representative government; without them, we won’t have a country. Radical progressive Democrats know this and are using open border policies while also attacking election integrity laws to fundamentally remake America.

“That’s why I am proud to introduce the SAVE Act with Speaker Johnson and my Republican colleagues, along with the invaluable support of citizens and organizations that recognize we must end the practice of non-citizens voting in our elections.”

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) announced that he will introduce a companion to the SAVE Act in the US Senate…

“Voting is both a sacred right and responsibility of American citizenship, and allowing the people of other nations access to our elections is a grave blow to our security and self-governance.”

FAMOUS LAST WORDS

“It used to be PUNK to vote Democrat.  I fell for it.  But when your party demands you live in fear, squaller, beyond your means by just buying groceries, gasoline, disrespecting our veterans, our police, our elderly, supporting CRIMINALS, chaos, riots, Hamas, FAILING Israel, demeaning us at every turn! HURTING our CHILDREN! Wasting OUR MONEY. Ineptitude with every policy! Lies and more lies. NO MORE! The Democrat Party can KISS MY A$$.  They don’t give a damn.  Voting Dem used to be cool.  But now, it just makes you a FOOL.” – Cherrie Currie, former lead singer for The Runaways
