What is with this sudden Democrat reverence for Abraham Lincoln? First Barack Obama and now Harry Reid.

“The week’s ceremonies afforded us the opportunity to think about the many special qualities of Abraham Lincoln that have captured our national imagination these many years,” Reid said in a speech at the Nevada Legislature on Wednesday. “The trait that I most admire is Lincoln’s unsurpassed ability to bring people together.”

Yeah, he brought some 620,000 Americans together at Pearly Gates during the Civil War.
