Horsford’s F-ing F Street Boondoggle

At today’s budget hearing, the Nevada Department of Transportation requested $1,238,789.00 for the Southern Nevada RTC for the construction of a pet project of Senate Majority Leader Steven Horsford to reopen the F Street underpass below I-15 in Las Vegas.

And despite the fact that you can access downtown Las Vegas by driving or walking just two short blocks away from F Street, Horsford and NDOT have designated this completely senseless and racially-based project a “high priority.” Yet another example of the fact that Nevada’s government has its priorities all screwed up and is anything but cut to the bone.
