Horsford in Wonderland

To give you an idea of just how desperate Democrat Senate Minority Leader Steven Horsford is getting as the sands through the legislative hour-glass continue to fall, get a load of this tweet from him last week:

“The Governor’s budget, with its deep cuts, is not fiscally conservative. The Margin Tax is a responsible solution, proposed at .8%.”

A budget that cuts spending and doesn’t raise taxes is not “fiscally conservative”?

I guess in Horsford’s Wonderland, “fiscally conservative” means whatever he wants it to mean. But here in the real world, Gov. Sandoval’s proposed budget is more fiscally conservative than either of the two budgets proposed by former Gov. Gibbons.

To try to “spin” it otherwise is just plain asinine.
