Family Trouble

You hate to hear these things, but reportedly there was an incident at conservative state Sen. Elizabeth Halseth’s (R-Las Vegas) home yesterday, but that’s all I’ve confirmed thus far.

Halseth released the following statement this morning: “Our family is going through a very difficult time. We are working through some important personal issues and respectfully ask that we be afforded the privacy necessary to work through this difficult time.”

Halseth is married with three young children. She was named Citizen Outreach’s “Conservative of the Year” a few months back, and chalked up the highest score in our organization’s “Ratings of the 2011 Legislature.”
