Eight Democrats in the Assembly obviously have WAY too much time on their hands. The gaggle is co-sponsoring AB 154, a “feel good” bill requiring all local school districts to establish “a policy prohibiting criminal gang activity on school property.”
Duh. Why not introduce a bill requiring all local school districts to establish a policy prohibiting students from attending math class in the nude? Do we really need a state law mandating that school districts do the obvious?
And with a projected $2.3 BILLION budget hole thanks to over-spending by the Legislature, is this really a priority for legislators to be tackling right now?
