* Anyone watching the now-infamous “47 percent” video knows Mitt Romney was talking about that 47 percent as it related to his CAMPAIGN strategy, not how he would treat them if elected president. Which is why it’s so frustrating to see fellow Nevada Republicans like Gov. Brian Sandoval and Sen. Dean Heller take the liberal media bait and distance themselves from the GOP nominee by throwing him under the bus.

* To combat crime in the most dangerous city in America – Camden, New Jersey – city officials are “planning to disband the Police Department.”
What? That’s right. “The reason, officials say, is that generous union contracts have made it financially impossible to keep enough officers on the street.” And shutting down its current unionized police force of 273 officers “will free up millions to hire a larger, nonunionized force of 400 officers to safeguard the city,” reports the New York Times. * George Olsen, a neighbor of a world-class hoarder, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the situation is “horrendous.” “This is like a junkyard,” he said. “It smells putrid. We go for walks, and it’s terrible. … Why isn’t the HOA doing anything? It affects home prices, and it puts a black mark on the community.”
Democrat congressional candidate Steve Horsford immediately issued an outraged statement accusing Mr. Olsen of race-baiting.
