It was only days ago that GOP party leaders were touting and cheering the potential candidacy of an unknown Wall Street banker who hasn’t lived in the state since he was 17 moving back to run against Harry Reid next year.
But it appears Johnny Chachas neglected to tell the party brass that he had maxed out to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign – as reported and documented by John Ralston on Friday. That’ll sure go over well with Republican primary voters.
On Monday I set the odds of Johnny Chachas getting into the race and grabbing the GOP nomination at 3-1. In light of this Obama revelation, I’m resetting the odds at 300-1.
