Berkley to Flip Insanity the Bird

Delen Goldberg of the Las Vegas Sun tweets that Rep. Shelley Berkley (D-Nevada) “will hold a ‘Congress on the Corner’ event Friday in Las Vegas to honor Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.”

Bully for Shelley Berkley!

The American response to this tragedy isn’t to roll up in a ball and suck our thumbs while watering down free-speech rights, but to courageously stare this kind of insanity right in the eye and then spit in it. If I wasn’t going to be in DC on Friday, I’d attend this event and encourage everyone else to do so. If you really want to show your support for Rep. Giffords, THIS is the way to do it.
