“The former street preacher charged with kidnapping and assaulting Elizabeth Smart has suffered an apparent seizure in the courtroom,” the AP reported this morning. “Paramedics rushed inside the courtroom to attend to Brian David Mitchell, who was moaning and lying on the floor.”
Now, I know this isn’t exactly a Christian sentiment, especially coming as it is during the Christmas season, but you know what? For what that man did to that poor 14-year-old girl and her family – kidnapped at knifepoint, forced to do drugs and alcohol, and raped almost daily – a slow, painful death on that courtroom floor is just what he deserves. Would save the taxpayers a bundle, as well.
