(Chuck Muth) – I usually open up my Campaign Boot Camp training workshops with this: It’s not the best candidate who wins, but the best campaign.
And I can tell you, there are a lot of good Republican candidates on the ballot again this year who are not running, in my opinion, good campaigns.
Not the case for Brandon Davis in Assembly District 34.
I met Brandon two years ago at a fundraising event for the Nevada Firearms Coalition. He was running for governor as a Libertarian. I liked him immediately. Problem was, he’d never run for office and picked a race he wasn’t ready for.
In addition, as much as I agree with the libertarian philosophy of limited government and individual freedom, as a political party the LP has never enjoyed much success.
But after his 2022 loss, Brandon – like late Assemblyman Dennis Hof – switched to the GOP and set his sights on a more doable race.
Yes, the district has a Democrat majority, but it also has a huge non-partisan bloc of voters AND it’s an “open” seat since the incumbent chose not to run for re-election.
And his Democrat opponent, Hanadi Nadeem, has lots of problems, including posting “messages of support and admiration on social media for former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Kahn, a known Taliban sympathizer.”
You can read all about the “Ilhan Omar of Nevada” by clicking here.
Brandon is a small business owner and has exceptional marketing skills, which is evident in the campaign he’s running.
He’s also attended a number of my training workshops and has quickly IMPLEMENTED things he learned that he thought would help his campaign.
Brandon’s also been endorsed by Gov. Joe Lombardo, the Keystone Corporation, the Latin Chamber of Commerce, and a variety of law enforcement and veteran groups.
He’s a great candidate, a solid limited government libertarian-conservative, and is running a great campaign. It’d be a game-changer to see him in Carson City…and he’s got a real shot at flipping this seat.
So while I know many of you are “tapped out” with political donations, just a few last-minute bucks invested in Brandon’s campaign could make all the difference in a close race. I guarantee he won’t squander it. The man knows what he’s doing.
So if you can kick in a few shekels and be part of what could well be a major upset on November 5th, click here for more information or to make a donation.
Let’s Go, Brandon!
